Welcome Beth Ann!

Our team is continuing to grow! We are happy to welcome Beth Ann Wilson on board. As a 30-year Arlington resident, Beth Ann is an exciting addition to the Geva & Jane team. Like Geva and Jane, she has lived with her husband and raised her 3 children in Arlington public schools and is prepared to help home buyers in all phases of life.

Here’s a Q&A to help you get to know Beth Ann:

What led you to this career?

A:  

I have been a listing/open house junkie for decades.

I simply love scouring the market to see what is out there..

Q:

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?

A:  

My mother – She showed me that if something is worth doing,

it should be done to the best of your abilities.

Q:

What was your first job?

A:  

Softball and baseball scorekeeper at our local little league fields.

Q:

How do you prefer to start your day?

A:  

In my kitchen, on my desktop, with lots of coffee

Q:

What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?

A:  

Remember to be grateful and try not to stress over things I can’t control.

Q:

What energizes you outside of work?

A:  

Being at the beach.

Q:

What’s something—big or small—that you’re really good at?

A:  

I have had a lot of success as a college and travel volleyball coach.

Q:

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

A:  

Working and coaching volleyball, but also finding time

to check out estate sales and do some gardening.

Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)?

A:  

Cats!!  My kids like getting me “cat lady” gifts.

This is Zora and Snootz. Unfortunately, Zora passed away recently, we miss her a lot.

Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?

A:  

I used to make and sell jewelry.

What book are you reading now?

A:  

5 Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni 

I am passionate about positive, productive teamwork.

What’s one hobby you’d love to get into?

A:  

 Pickleball.

Q:

What’s one item you can’t leave your house or apartment without?

A:  

My phone. I am big on communication

and if people need me, I want to respond quickly.

What’s one item you want to own that you don’t?

A:  

A car that isn’t your typical “mom car”

What’s the first concert you ever went to?

A:  

The Beach Boys always played on the 4th of July

after Padres baseball games. A great childhood memory.

Q:

 What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?

A:  

Settlement papers!!  My husband and I just closed on a home in Colonial Beach, VA.
